Bupleurum Chinensis (umbelliferae) (Protein G extract) is a perennial plant with a glabre of 30 to 60 cm and brown / red tubular roots. Its stem is straight and simple, its leaves are slender. The blossoming process takes place from July to October. This plant can be found in dry slopes of mountains in northern and central China. The Chinese name of this plant is Chaihù ; it is mentioned in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia under the name Nan-chai-Hu.
